Stumpwork & Needlelace Weekend

Doreen Holmes is a well known tutor, author and designer of stumpwork and needle lace. She was a founder member of the Guild of Needle Lace.
 

 
 

Our theme this year is the farmyard and especially Roosters & Hens.
 
Learn traditional stumpwork techniques whilst producing a picture of a rooster, learn how to create water troughs, gates, barn doors, etc, to make your own picture which can be framed or used as a box top.
 
If you would prefer to stitch flowers or another subject that is fine, just let us know beforehand.
 
The cost for this 2 day workshop is £95.00, this includes all tuition, a delicious home-made lunch and refreshments on both days.
 
Doreen will be bringing kits, cost to be confirmed.

Last year's project was the shepherd and sheep - you can choose to do this if you missed out last year.
